Your role decides what you can see and do in easySales. Use this page to read a role and to work out why something is missing for you.

Every module has five actions: List (see the list), View (open a record), Add (create), Edit (change) and Delete (remove or deactivate).

Each action is set to one of three levels:

  • No access — you cannot do it at all.
  • All records — you can do it on every record in your company.
  • Own records only — you can do it on the records you own, and on records shared with you.

Accounts (Account), Appointments (Appointment), Call logs (Call Log), Campaigns (Campaign), Contacts (Contact), Contracts (Contract), Credit notes (Credit Note), Dashboard (Dashboard), Delivery orders (Delivery), Email (Email), Events (Event), HRM (HRM), Invoices (Invoice), Leads (Lead), Lead pools (Lead Pool), Notes (Note), Opportunities (Opportunity), Products (Product), Purchase orders (Purchase), Quotations (Quote), Reports (Report), SMS (SMS), System settings (System), Tasks (Task) and Users (User).

A role can also have Transfer Records, which lets its holder change the owner of records they do not own.

Reason How to check Who can fix it
Your role gives No access to that module or action. The sidebar entry or button is missing. An administrator, under Roles.
Your role is Own records only and the record is not yours. A colleague with All records can see it. Change the owner, or share the record.
The module’s sharing setting keeps records private. Ask who owns the record. An administrator, under Sharing settings.
Your company’s licence does not include the module. The module is missing for everyone. Your account manager at easySales.
