Lists and columns
Every module opens on a list — accounts, quotations, invoices and the rest. The lists work the same way everywhere, so once you know one, you know them all.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need List on the module to see its list. Changing a list’s columns for the whole company also needs System Edit; setting them up for yourself needs nothing more.
- Search. Type in the search box above the list. The list narrows as you type; select Clear search to start again.
- Filter. Select Filters, choose the conditions — a status, a date range, a person — and select Apply. The applied conditions show as tags above the list; select Clear filters to remove them all.
- Sort. Select a column heading to sort by it; select it again to reverse the order.
- Page. Use the page controls under the list to move through the rows.
- Set up the columns. Select the column-setting button beside the search box to open List Column Setting. On Columns, add, remove, rename, resize and reorder columns, and keep the first column visible when you scroll sideways. On Filters, choose what the Filters box asks for.
- Choose who the settings are for — For everyone or Just me — and save.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The list shows your changes at once. Just me changes only your own view; For everyone changes the company’s default, and anyone who has set up their own view keeps theirs. Use Reset to the company default or Reset to the standard columns to go back.
Rules to know
Section titled “Rules to know”- When nothing matches, the list says whether your search or your filter excluded everything, so you know which one to clear.
- Some lists have fixed columns and no column setting — for example products, users, leads and purchase orders.
- easySales has no bulk actions and no export from lists.
